I graduated from East Carolina University. I finished with two Bachelor degrees in the Fine Arts Studio program: Graphic Design & Illustration. One of my favorite quotes that I keep to heart is from my very strict design professor:

If everything is important then NOTHING is important.

As an illustrator, I like to focus on making complex messages and information into simple illustrations or making simple messages into complex illustrations. As a graphic designer, I like to use visual hierarchy to organize to read information efficiently.
